28,000 Trees are cut down
per day to make
Toilet Paper.
This is why I make my own
personal pads (tho I still use TP
for more serious business ;))
Personal pads can be anything
from sewn squares to just using
old cotton socks or cut up
sections of old T-shirts.
Be creative.

"The forest is not merely an expression or representation of sacredness, nor a place
to invoke the sacred; the forest is sacredness itself. Nature is not merely created by
God, nature is God. Whoever moves within the forest can partake directly of
sacredness, experience sacredness with his entire body, breath sacredness and
contain it within himself, drink the sacred water as a living communion, bury his
feet in sacredness, open his eyes and witness the burning beauty of sacredness."

William Blake ~
“The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others
only a green thing that stands in the way. Some see nature all
ridicule and deformity … and some scarce see nature at all. But to
the eyes of the man of imagination, nature is imagination itself.”
"The clearest way into the universe is through a forest wilderness." ~ John Muir
John Fowles
"In some mysterious way woods have never seemed to me to
be static things. In physical terms, I move through them; yet
in metaphysical ones, they seem to move through me."
Nikita Gill ~ You Have Become a Forest
One day when you wake up, you will find that you have become a forest. You have
grown roots and found strength in them that no one thought you had. You have
become stronger and more beautiful, full of life giving qualities. You have learned to
take all the negativity around you and turn it into oxygen for easy breathing. A host
of wild creatures live inside you and you call them stories. A variety of beautiful
birds rest inside your mind and you call them memories. You have become an
incredible self sustaining thing of epic proportions. And you should be so proud of
yourself, of how far you have come from the seeds of who you used to be.
"It is not so much for its beauty that
the forest makes a claim upon men's
hearts, as for that subtle something,
that quality of air that emanation
from old trees, that so wonderfully
changes and renews a weary spirit."
- Robert Louis Stevenson
"The cultivation of trees is the cultivation of the
good, the beautiful and the ennobling in man."
- J. Sterling Morton
The creation of a thousand forests is in one Acorn.
